The name of my country is Nigeria . The President of my Country is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President is Kashim Shettima
My country gained her independence in the year October 1st 1960. My country clocked 63 years on Sunday, 1st of October, 2023. She's a great country that is located at the West African country which we are known as the giant of Africa because of the population and diverse ethnic groups and culture (more than 250 ethnic groups) and blessed with our numerous natural resources that we can use to bless Nations.
The name Nigeria was taken from the Niger river running through the country. This name was allegedly coined in the late 19th century by British journalist Flora Shaw, who later married Baron Frederick Lugard, a British colonial administrator.
The National flag colour is green and white designed by Michael Taiwo Akinkumi.
My great country has rules and regulations that governs the masses or citizens. My country has some national symbols like the National anthem, pledge and the coat of arms.
I like my country Nigeria because it teaches us how to maintain and acts in accordance with established rules; accustoming to systematic and regular action in our environment and obey the traffic light with other related rules and regulations. God bless Nigeria!!!
